Best Surfboards of 2013

So if your a surfer, you probably own a handful of boards a year because your always looking for that magic board for those different breaks. You know we’re right when we say that buying surfboards is addicting. Well we have been surfing quiet a few shortboards this year that we would love to highlight in this thread and we encourage you to try them.

Lost V2 Shortboard
Many of you got hooked on the lost rocket or maybe the or maybe the V2 rocket. Well Matt Biolos has done it again with this refined squash tail version of the V2 Rocket. Stop by this link to read up on it more as well as order one.

Lost Bottom Feeder
Living in Florida we always have a wave but sometimes its SUPER DUPER small and not fun. Riding shortboards mostly we like to throw the fins around, even in the small stuff. When we hear of this board and some of the reviews it was must to purchase and try. Tell ya what, this is one of the best boards our team has ever ridden. Super responsive and makes those knee high waves super fun and manageable for hours on end. Best set up with a quad for fast movement and loose feel. Firewire Potatonator
Honestly, I didn’t think this board would be fun, but once I surfed it a handful of times I couldn’t put it down. I would even surf it on big waves and it was still a blast an super responsive. Meant for tiny mushy surf but don’t let this shape full you, it handles head high plus and is a blast still. This is gonna be one of my go to boards for a long time and we are pumped on what Firewire is creating. Stop by this link to read up on it more as well as order one.

Tomo/Firewire Vanguard
Well we all know that this board looks hideous and was the talk of the surf community and still is. Reason being, this board RIPS. This board is meant for solid/clean waves and rides incredible. We took it down to Puerto Rico and surfed a couple spots with it and the feeling and response for such a weird board, just worked and worked well. Definitely a board to consider if you can get over the weird look. Stop by this link to read up on it more as well as order one.

Channel Islands The Neck Beard
Man o man, this board is so much fun. Whether its a foot overhead or knee high, I was always snatching amazing rides and loving life on this thing. We even surfed it in a fresh water wave pool a handful of times last year and it held up super good. Stop by this link to read up on it more as well as order one.

Channel Islands Dumpster Diver
This board should be in everyones quiver. Fast, responsive and fun. It handles really good in super mushy and flat section type surf spots. We surfed this a ton and really have no complaints except we should have got it in a quad. Our team shares this board and we also have had a ton of friends borrow it and they love it as well.
